Flat-rate AWS cost audit · 7-day turnaround

Your AWS bill is lying to you hiding money.

A senior DevOps engineer goes line-by-line through your account and hands you a prioritized savings plan. If I don't find at least 3x the fee in annualized savings, you pay nothing.

Read-only access · No agents installed · Report you keep forever

Audited

The guarantee: ≥ $10,500/yr in savings identified — or the audit is free. In writing.

What you get

Not a dashboard. A decision list.

Cost tools show you charts. This audit hands you the exact changes to make, what each one saves, and how risky it is — written by someone who runs production AWS for a living.

Deliverable 01

Top-10 savings report

Every opportunity quantified in dollars per year, ranked by savings-to-effort ratio, with the exact console steps or Terraform diff to implement it.

Deliverable 02

60-minute walkthrough

A live call with your team. We go finding by finding, answer the "will this break prod?" questions, and agree on what ships first.

Deliverable 03

60 days of CostPulse

Anomaly alerts in Slack or Teams so the waste doesn't quietly creep back. Included free, cancel anytime, no card required.

How it works

Seven days. Zero agents. Read-only.

Connect access

I send you a short Terraform module that creates a read-only cross-account IAM role — billing and inventory visibility only, locked to my account with an external ID. You can read every line before you apply it, and delete the role the moment we're done.

The audit

I work through compute, storage, network, databases, and commitments: idle resources, wrong instance families, gp2 volumes, unused IPs and NAT gateways, missing Savings Plans, runaway data transfer, and the weird stuff only experience catches.

Report + walkthrough

You get the written report and we book the call. Most clients implement the top three findings the same week — those alone usually clear the guarantee.

Who's auditing

An engineer, not an agency.

I'm a senior DevOps engineer who manages AWS infrastructure and Terraform in production every working day. CostPulse exists because I kept finding the same five-figure leaks in every account I touched.

No junior analysts, no offshore team, no upsell to a managed service. One engineer, your account, seven days.

Pricing

One flat fee. It pays for itself or it's free.

If your AWS bill is over $10k/month, finding $10,500/yr in waste is the floor, not the ceiling. Typical audits at that spend level surface $30–80k/yr. The math isn't subtle.

Questions

The things you're wondering.

Is this safe? What access do you get?

Read-only, full stop. The IAM role grants billing visibility and resource metadata only — no data access, no write permissions, no agents or software installed. It's scoped to a single external account with an external ID, and you delete it when we're done.

What if you don't find 3x the fee?

Then the audit is free. You keep the report either way. In practice this hasn't happened on any account spending over $10k/month — AWS waste is remarkably reliable.

Can I reserve a slot with a deposit?

Yes — a $500 deposit locks in your slot and applies toward the full $3,500 fee. Two slots open per month; the deposit is fully refunded if the audit doesn't find 3x savings. Use the "Reserve slot" button above or email [email protected] to arrange payment.

Will the recommendations break production?

Every finding carries a risk rating, and the walkthrough call exists precisely to talk through anything sensitive. Most top findings — storage class changes, idle resources, commitment coverage — are zero-downtime.

We're below $10k/month. Worth it?

Probably start with CostPulse alerting instead — it's a fraction of the price and catches the big leaks automatically. Email me and I'll tell you honestly which makes sense.
